AWS Shared Responsibility Model

Overview

The AWS Shared Responsibility Model is a security and compliance framework that delineates the security responsibilities of AWS versus those of the customer. This model helps relieve customer's operational burden as AWS operates, manages, and controls the components from the host operating system and virtualization layer down to the physical security of the facilities.
