Question Strategy¶
- Read carefully: Identify key requirements and constraints in the question
- Eliminate first: Remove obviously incorrect answers to improve odds
- Look for keywords: "most cost-effective," "highest availability," "least complexity"
- Vendor-neutral mindset: Answers should apply across cloud providers
- Best practice over workaround: Choose the proper solution, not the shortcut
Time Management¶
- 90 questions in 90 minutes = approximately 1 minute per question
- Performance-based questions take longer - budget 3-5 minutes each
- Flag and move: Do not spend more than 2 minutes on any single MCQ
- Review time: Reserve 10-15 minutes for flagged questions
- Quick wins first: Answer confident questions first, then tackle harder ones
Performance-Based Questions (PBQs)¶
- PBQs appear at the beginning of the exam
- They test practical skills like troubleshooting, configuration, or analysis
- May involve drag-and-drop, matching, or interactive simulations
- Skip complex PBQs initially and return after completing MCQs
- Partial credit may be available - attempt all parts even if unsure
